I attended the 2009 Senior Graduate Portfolio show and I had the chance to see work from graphic designers, animators, chefs and so on. I believed the overall layout was done very well with how they kept each group together. The first graphic designer that caught my eye right away was Victor Montoya. I had the chance to talk to him a little bit to ask some questions about his work. First question I had ask was "What project did you find to be the most difficult and why?" He told me that his time line of Azucar Celia Cruz was the most difficult because he had to make a layout with enough info about her with out it being to crowded and find a way portray music without using the typical symbols that you would already suspect somebody to use. He had work from posters, packaging design to logos. My favorite was his bottle of water that he did to make it look like Deer Park but it was not. I thought it was very cleaver how he had sitting to the side because it made you think "why does he have 2 bottles of water just sitting in front of his project?"
